Video Remote Interpreting is becoming more common in Healthcare and Legal settings.  This service offers instant connection to a live interpreter to bridge the language barrier gap between Non-English Speaking individuals.

Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) is a communication service to allow people who are Non-English Speaking or Deaf to communicate with people who are hearing via the internet (Skype).

How Does It Work?
The customer can contact Eterpreting to book an interpreter to attend an appointment.

The booking can take place at the chosen time using a webcam.  The interpreter will link to the customer’s room via Skype.
What tools do I need?

• A computer, iPad  or other suitable Video Remote device with internet connection that supports Skype
• Skype instant messaging program, downloaded on computer or equivalent
• Webcam, microphone, speakers for audio visual purposes

How Do I Get Skype?

Download the relevant software and select the software that is compatible with the computer or equivalent you use. Make sure you have the most recent version of Skype.
